Wearing the right size bra can really make the difference to how you feel about yourself. By changing your bra you could feel that your boobs are a great asset to be proud of instead of being a hassle you wish you didn’t have. This might sound outrageous but wearing the right size bra could dramatically change your posture, the way your clothes fit and your confidence level.

If you are wearing the wrong bra size, well, you’re not alone! It is thought that over 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra!

Now the question is how do you find the right size for you?

At Milayo, we advise bra fitting with a trained fitter, however we have also devised a self-fitting guide to help you find your size. To be completely sure though, you need an experienced and trained bra fitter.

Find your bra size, here are the steps

*Band Size - Raise both breast tissue up, then take a measurement of your under bust/ band

Bust Size - Take measurement of the biggest or fullest part of your breast

The measured band size is your band size and the difference between the band size and bust size, equals your cup size.

Bust – Band Size = Cup size

*Band size is usually an even numbers. If you get an odd number or fraction, round it up to the nearest even number. For example, band 31" will become band 32"; Also 29.5" will be band 30"

The chart below gives you an idea of what your cup size will be
